{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a3f2abe33b661cebe35151e9","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a3f2abe33b661cebe35151e9","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a3f2abe33b661cebe35151e9","title":"Electronic Assembler 1","description":"Summary\nUnder general supervision, performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations on printed wiring boards, subassemblies, and final assemblies in accordance with specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAssemble electronic components, circuit boards, and wiring harnesses per schematics, work instructions, and IPC-A-610 standards.\nPerform soldering, crimping, tinning, and conformal coating using approved techniques.\nApply adhesives, masking/de-masking, and install hardware as required.\nOperate hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively.\nConduct functional testing and inspection to ensure compliance with AS9100 and FAA requirements.\nMaintain accurate production records and complete data entry for assembly operations.\nFollow all safety, ESD, and regulatory guidelines, report unsafe conditions promptly.\nKeep work area clean and organized in accordance with 6S principles.\nMeet productivity and quality standards; monitor own work for accuracy and thoroughness.\nCollaborate with team members to resolve assembly issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nPerform other duties as assigned to meet production schedules.\nCompetency\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nAttention to Detail\nCollaboration and Teamwork\nCommunication Skills\nIntegrity and Compliance\nReliability and Accountability\nInitiative and Productivity\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training or IPC certification preferred.\nOne to three years of related experience in electronics assembly or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nComputer Skills:\nBasic computer skills for data entry and documentation.\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read and interpret schematics, assembly instructions, and process documentation.\nMathematical Skills:\nBasic math skills and proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments.\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to monitor own work for accuracy and thoroughness; collaborate to resolve issues and support improvements.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing floor with moderate noise and exposure to chemicals, adhesives, and ESD-sensitive components.\nRequires adherence to PPE and safety protocols.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.\nLift and move up to 25 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 50 lbs.\nGood vision for detailed work, including color differentiation.\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
