This is an execution-focused role within a lean data team, responsible for building, debugging, and maintaining the tools that deliver data to our stakeholders.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a highly proficient practitioner who thrives on building and maintaining the \"full stack\" of BI. You will be responsible for writing and troubleshooting Python-based ETL/ELT pipelines, developing complex logic within SQL Server, and creating the end-user reports that power our business. We need someone who enjoys all stages of data including cleaning it, moving it, and visualizing it with a high degree of accuracy and reliability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSQL Server Development & Administration\n\nDevelop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and functions in production environments.\n\nPerform regular database tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimization, prioritizing stability and performance for reporting infrastructure.\n\nETL/ELT Development\n\nDevelop Python scripts to extract data from various sources and load it into our environment.\n\nMonitor existing ETL/ELT processes to ensure data is flowing correctly and resolve any pipeline failures promptly.\n\nReporting & Visualization\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements.\n\nEnsure data models are optimized for performance and usability.\n\nBI Systems Analysis & Support\n\nProvide tier-2/3 support for BI tools and environments, including issue triage and resolution.\n\nPartner with business stakeholders to document data requirements and ensure solutions align with operational and strategic goals.\n\nData Governance & Quality\n\nImplement data validation, auditing, and reconciliation processes to ensure integrity of reporting outputs.\n\nSupport governance initiatives for consistent and accurate data across platforms.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field (or equivalent work experience).\n\n5+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Database Developer, or similar role.\n\n2+ years of experience supporting production-grade python ETL processes.\n\nStrong proficiency with SQL Server (including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning).\n\nProven experience with SSRS and Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.\n\nExperience supporting production environments and snapshot reporting databases.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\n\nExcellent communication and documentation skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.\n\nFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).\n\nFamiliarity with JIRA and agile methodologies\n\nBackground in business or systems analysis, with proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n\nExperience with retail and NetSuite Data Model\n\nKey Competencies\n\nSelf-starter and curiosity to dig in and learn\n\nStrong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.\n\nEVEREVE Benefits and Perks\n\nSelf-Managed PTO: Time off is yours to plan and use as you need it\n\nAffordable Health Insurance: 80% employer-paid premiums for medical and dental for team members; 50% covered for eligible partners, spouses and dependents\n\nParental Leave: Generous paid leave benefits for maternity, paternity and adoption to enjoy time with your growing family\n\nFlex Spending Accounts: Benefit from pre-tax savings for out-of-pocket healthcare or dependent/daycare costs\n\nAdditional Insurance: Company paid life insurance and short- and long-term disability\n\n401k +5% Match.
