Leasing Agent

Company: Sundance Property ManagementPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for showcasing our properties, assisting prospective residents through the leasing process, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from first contact to move-in.Key ResponsibilitiesPresent and tour properties while highlighting features and amenities to prospective residentsRespond to inquiries and guide prospects through the leasing processProcess rental applications, verify information, and complete lease documentationMaintain accurate guest cards and prospect data in property management systemsAdvertise available units through various marketing channelsStay informed on market trends and competitor pricing to support leasing strategyNegotiate lease terms and successfully close leasesConduct follow-ups with prospects and maintain strong resident relationshipsAssist with property inspections to ensure readiness and appealPrepare and submit weekly traffic and monthly commission reportsProvide excellent customer service and support to residents and team membersPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferredAt least 1 year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferredStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and build rapport with residentsBasic math skills (percentages, ratios, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Resman a plus)Core CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer service mindset with a focus on resident satisfactionCritical thinking and problem-solving abilityProfessionalism, integrity, and attention to detailEffective time management and organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk the property and climb stairs frequentlyAbility to sit and work at a computer for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyWhy Join Us?Supportive team environmentOpportunity for growth and developmentCompetitive compensation and incentivesIf you’re passionate about helping people find their next home and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!Company IntroductionServing six states across the Midwest and Southeast, Sundance offers full-service management for apartments and manufactured housing communities.
