Banquet/Short Order Cook
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute banquet menus
- Ensure timely and efficient food preparation for banquets and events
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes
Qualifications:
- Must have a current Food Manager's License
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and banquet service
- Strong food handling skills, including proper storage, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
- - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
