M&P supports all the different systems of the aircraft including batteries, motors, landing gear, structures, flight controls, electrical systems and finishing. Testing is done to inspect raw material, verify production processes, qualify new suppliers, improve processes, and develop new products.\n\nThe M&P Technician will be responsible for carrying out fabrication, testing and reporting in support of the above mention activities.\n\nHow you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:\n\nManufacture and test panels for thermal runaway protection\n\nQualification testing of new materials\n\nMachine and test process control coupons for composite parts\n\nFabricate and test specimens for receiving inspection of raw materials\n\nDestructive testing of composite parts. Cut parts, take cross sections, machine specimens, and test\n\nTesting to improve existing processes\n\nTesting for R&D of new material and new processes\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\nDetail oriented and well organized\n\nMust have good hands-on skills and experience\n\nFamiliarity with mechanical testing\n\nAbove and Beyond Qualifications:\n\nExperience building and testing composite parts with either wet-layup, autoclave cures, or oven cures\n\nExperience using test equipment such as a load frames, analytical lab equipment, and microscopes\n\nExperience using manual or CNC machining equipment\n\nThe wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role.
