In this role, you will support nuclear stockpile sustainment, NC3 modernization and survivability analysis, strategic policy development, and senior‑leader governance activities. The Nuclear Analyst will develop high‑quality analytical products, support interagency and DoD nuclear forums, and assist in the integration of nuclear modernization efforts within the Air Force's strategic deterrence mission. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented national security professional with strong experience in nuclear policy, NC3 systems, or strategic deterrence operations.\nPosition Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis to support Air Force nuclear stockpile sustainment, modernization planning, nuclear policy development, and strategic deterrence initiatives.\nPrepare clear, high-quality policy papers, briefs, and decision documents for senior leaders.\nReview, draft, and coordinate nuclear‑related staff packages, requirements, and documentation.\nSupport analysis of NC3 system readiness, survivability, cybersecurity, and capability gaps.\nAssist in evaluating Joint and DoD nuclear requirements and their impact on Air Force programs.\nPrepare materials for nuclear governance meetings and track action items and decisions.\nSupport Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) activities, including milestone and risk tracking.\nParticipate in nuclear‑related meetings and provide concise post‑meeting insights and recommendations.\nMaintain programmatic and historical documentation for nuclear enterprise activities, supporting long‑term continuity and knowledge management.\nPosition Requirements Minimum 5-8 years of experience supporting nuclear enterprise, strategic deterrence, NC3, or related DoD programs.\nStrong knowledge of nuclear policy, strategic deterrence concepts, and Air Force or DoD nuclear mission areas.\nExperience conducting research, policy analysis, capability assessments, or technical evaluations related to nuclear or NC3 systems.\nAbility to prepare high‑quality analytical products, including briefs, white papers, and decision support materials for senior leaders.\nFamiliarity with Joint, Combatant Command, or DoD nuclear requirements, governance forums, or mission planning processes.\nExperience reviewing and coordinating staff packages, comment resolution matrices, or policy and requirements documentation.\nAbility to analyze complex technical, operational, and programmatic information and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interface with senior military, civilian, and interagency stakeholders.\nPreferred Skills Experience supporting AF/A10, Air Force Global Strike Command, USSTRATCOM, or other organizations within the nuclear enterprise.\nExperience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), conducting dependency and critical‑path analysis, or supporting program schedule reviews.\nBackground in nuclear weapons policy, arms control, or strategic deterrence planning.\nRequired Security Clearance Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility; SAP/SAR eligibility as required.\nPreferred Certification(s) INCOSE CSEP (Certified Systems Engineering Professional)\nPMP (Project Management Professional)\nAir Force Nuclear Fundamentals Course (NFC)\nEducation Bachelor's degree in National Security, Nuclear Engineering, Political Science, International Affairs, or related discipline.\nMaster's degree preferred.\nLocation Langley AFB, VA\nEqual‑Opportunity Employer Statement S2Technologies is an equal‑opportunity employer.
