Using, supplying, holding materials or tools for the Painter. Cleaning the work area. Setting up parts to paint.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nApplies knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques, using spray painting equipment, power tools, and work aids by performing the following duties:\n\nKnow and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.\nKnow, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.\nStrips, sands, masks, and touches up surfaces, and manually blends finish to match surrounding areas.\nRegulates controls on equipment to cure and dry paint or other coatings.\nCleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.\nMonitors and verifies quality in accordance with industry standards.\nRecords types and amounts of paints used for environmental regulation reporting.\nRecords completion of painting operations on planning documents.\nMaintains a safe and clean working environment by cleaning paint booth area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\nReport to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.\nCrosstrain in different processes within department.\nCleans the site after painting work is done.\nOther various duties as needed or as assigned.\n\nPosition Requirements\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
