We are a values-driven organization (see the Core Values section of our website) and we’re looking for new Uncommon Geniuses to join our growing team, so if you’re a person who likes to solve problems, fix things, build things, tweak things, or otherwise show creative flair, you might just be an "UNCOMN Genius" and we encourage you to check out the specifics of this position below!UNCOMN is seeking a Program Manager to:Independently oversee the development, sustainment, and management of a team supporting an automated, web-based freight traffic management system.Lead and manage teams to deliver on project objectives, analyzing new and complex project-related problems, and devising innovative solutions across various domains such as finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.Manage program and technical support operations, including multiple tasks/projects and personnel.Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and execution of all program and technical support activities.Demonstrate expertise in information technology and communication skills to interface with stakeholders at all levels of management effectively.Engage in regular meetings and discussions with client management officials to provide updates on program-specific technical efforts and progress.Proactively resolve problems, issues, or conflicts as they arise to ensure smooth project execution.Ensure that program schedules, performance metrics, and deliverables are met according to defined requirements and standards.Requirements10+ years of experience in program management, preferably within government contracting or IT consulting.Proven track record of managing large, complex programs with successful outcomes.Extensive understanding of Agile project management methodologies and best practices to include Scrum and Kanban frameworks.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in using Jira (or similar) for project management, issue tracking, and workflow customization.Experience utilizing Confluence (or similar) for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge management.Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage projects from conception to production.Must be able to thrive in a collaborative team environment, and quickly adapt to change.Proficient within the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.PreferredPrior experience supporting Global Freight Management (GFM) and/or Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC).
