{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a39c3e7c99b81a70e57bb8a0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a39c3e7c99b81a70e57bb8a0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a39c3e7c99b81a70e57bb8a0","title":"Warehouse Machine Operator","description":"Overview\nPROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known distribution warehouse in Hernando, MS and is currently seeking Energized 1st and 2nd shift Machine Operators who are team players, versatile, and dependable!\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team.\nSHIFT HOURS AND PAY RATE\n1st shift--6:30AM-3PM Monday through Friday plus any overtime as needed ($18.00/hr)\n2nd shift--2:30PM-1:00AM Monday through Thursday plus any overtime as needed ($19.00/hr)\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nWorking under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing quality car care products by operating, monitoring and adjusting production equipment along the operation’s high-speed production lines.\nESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperate and maintain high-speed production lines to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.\nFilling different types of packaging containers from pint size to 55-gallon drums.\nConsistently achieve or exceed established production standards.\nPerform equipment adjustments to maintain optimal operation and product quality.\nPreparing processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers.\nAccurately document production processes, including completing logs, calculating statistics, and tracking the receipt, flow, and return of materials.\nPreparing trainees for production responsibilities by demonstrating teamwork, leadership and following standard operating procedures.\nCompleting production, productivity, inspection, downtime and safety reports in a timely manner.\nMaintaining quality standards by conducting first-piece and line inspections.\nReporting production and quality issues by recording data and reporting unresolved issues to the supervisor.\nInspecting equipment and its parts to assure conformance to specifications.\nContribute to maintaining a culture committed to the safety of its employees; reporting unsafe acts and conditions to the appropriate Supervisor.\nMaintain a clean, organized and safe work environment at the employee’s assigned workstations.\nPerform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned by production supervisors or managers.\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\n2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.\nKnowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and standards, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective production of goods.\nAbility to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.\nExcellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nWorking knowledge and understanding of, MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, and OSHA requirements.\nExcellent interpersonal skills;
