Trading and Client Operations Associate - Dechtman Wealth Management

We serve as fiduciaries, offering services ranging from retirement planning to social security analysis. You'll be part of a collaborative, client-focused environment where success is measured by helping others achieve their financial goals. You will report to the Senior Wealth Advisor.What You'll DoTrading & Portfolio ImplementationExecute trades across client accounts in accordance with portfolio models and advisor directionEnsure accurate and timely trade settlement and reconciliationMonitor cash levels and raise cash for distributions, fees, and rebalancingAssist with portfolio rebalancing and implementation of investment strategiesCoordinate with custodians to resolve trade-related issuesCash Management & Client TransactionsProcess client withdrawals, distributions, and money movementsCoordinate ACH, wire requests, and check disbursementsVerify funding availability and ensure documentation for all transactionsTroubleshoot and resolve transaction-related issues with custodians and clientsClient Service & Support (Post-Market Hours Focus)Support the team with client service requests after market closeHelp with account maintenance, service follow-ups, and client inquiriesHelp ensure accurate completion of client requestsProvide a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in all client interactionsAccount Maintenance & OperationsOpen, update, and maintain client accounts across systemsMaintain accurate client records in CRM and portfolio management systemsHelp with account linking, beneficiary updates, and banking instructionsSupport reporting and data accuracy across platformsCompliance & DocumentationMaintain proper documentation for trades, distributions, and client requestsHelp with compliance tracking for client transactions and correspondenceEnsure all activities meet practice and regulatory standardsTeam & Operational SupportCollaborate with advisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operationsHelp with process improvements and operational efficienciesProvide backup support for administrative tasksWhat You'll Bring1 or more years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or trading operations preferredExperience with custodial platforms such as Schwab is strongly preferredUnderstanding of trading workflows, cash management, and account operationsFamiliarity with portfolio management systems such as Black Diamond is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsHigh level of professionalism and discretion when handling client informationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systemsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferredClient-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality serviceAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWhat We OfferCoverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregiver and 8 weeks for secondary caregiver)401k matching planHSA employer contributionsGenerous PTO benefitsStudent loan assistancePet insuranceAnnual base salary of $75,000 - $85,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)Hightower’s StoryFounded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations.
