Even with more than 9,000 people, 130 U.S. locations, and a global reach, we promise to know you and help you.\n\nCLA is dedicated to building a culture that invites different beliefs and perspectives to the table, so we can truly know and help our clients, communities, and each other.\n\nHow you’ll create opportunities in this Senior Application Developer role:\n\nDesign, develop, test, debug, document, maintain, and enhance complex web-based applications, integrations, APIs, workflows, and application components.\nBuild maintainable solutions using technologies such as .NET, Node.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, SQL, APIs, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.\nDesign and support containerized application architectures, data models, transformations, integrations, data-quality checks, and connections to enterprise systems, databases, files, and APIs.\nTranslate business requirements into practical technical designs, identify risks, recommend solutions, and help establish development standards across project teams.\nPerform unit testing and contribute to test planning, implementation, upgrades, production support, and architectural and code-level documentation.\nMonitor application performance and reliability, help ensure service expectations are met, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nEstimate project effort, define technical tasks, meet agreed-upon deadlines, and communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies early.\nPartner with product owners, architects, developers, business users, leaders, vendors, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, evaluate options, and demonstrate functionality.\nUse modern AI-assisted and agentic development approaches, including large language models, Model Context Protocol concepts, and agentic coding frameworks, when appropriate.\nMentor team members, share technical knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement across the application development practice.\n\nWhat you will need:\n\n4 years required; 6 years of relevant application development experience preferred\nExperience developing and supporting enterprise applications, web applications, APIs, workflows, integrations, or platform-based solutions preferred\nHands-on experience with modern application development technologies, preferably including .NET, Node.js, React, TypeScript or JavaScript, SQL, and API development.\nExperience working across multiple projects and technologies in a collaborative team environment.\nExperience with source control, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and modern cloud or container-based application architecture.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools or agentic development approaches preferred.\nBachelor’s degree is required.
