This position reports to the General Manager and will develop, maintain, and lead all aspects of quality management/control within our facility to ensure fabricated products are compliant with certifications, customer standards, and contract requirements.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDevelop, review, test, teach, train, and certify staff and program requirements for WPS, PQR, and WQTR.\r\nMaintain welder continuity logs and ensure welding machine calibration.\r\nManage and maintain current/future certifications and audit compliance for AISC Fabrication; AWS D1.1, D1.5; internal quality documents, and customer requirements.\r\nMaintain a system that identifies and tracks cost of quality non-compliance, rework, or poor quality.\r\nEstablish and champion the Quality Policy and Quality Steering Team, reinforcing a positive quality culture.\r\nProvide timely and accurate communication regarding quality policy updates, audits and audit findings, quality plans, individual test plans, identified compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.\r\nCreate, implement, and review quality improvement plans.\r\nEducate stakeholders in quality awareness and improvement, fostering a team approach to problem solving, training, supplier qualification, and employee certification.\r\nAudit vendor scoring matrix for quality compliance and supplier development.\r\nReview backlog for new project quality requirements and communicate actionable items.\r\nAttend various business unit meetings.\r\nQualifications\r\nMinimum 5 years' hands-on experience in a quality control/management role.\r\nBachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent overall experience.\r\nRequired certifications: CWI; CWE; ASNTC-1A Level 2 NDT with PT, UT, and RT; NACE Level 1.\r\nAbility to communicate professionally both verbally and written.\r\nProficient with MS Office software.\r\nFamiliarity with Tekla MRP.\r\nProficient math skills in support of Quality duties.\r\nHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.\r\nAgree to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company.\r\nSuccessfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.\r\nBenefits\r\nCompetitive salary based on the skills you bring to the company.\r\nPaid time off plus 9 paid holidays starting on your first day.\r\nMedical, dental and vision insurance, plus free Telemedicine for you and your dependents.\r\nEmployer paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability.\r\nHealth savings, flexible spending, and dependent care accounts.\r\n401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contribution.\r\nEmployee assistance program, mental health coverage, plus other optional benefit coverages.\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to comply with EEOC rules and regulations.
