General Liability Associate Attorney
Job DescriptionA well-established law firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex litigation matters while representing both local and national clients. The role is ideal for a motivated litigator who is looking to grow within a collaborative and respected general liability practice.Key Responsibilities:Manage general liability matters throughout the state of AlabamaIndependently handle a full litigation caseload from inception through resolutionConduct and defend depositions, including plaintiff and expert depositionsPrepare witnesses for depositions and trialDraft, review, and analyze discovery requests and responsesPrepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related filingsHandle court filings and service of documents, including e-filingAssist with trial preparation and provide trial support as neededMaintain accurate and timely billing recordsCollaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve client objectivesQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in one or more of the following areas:General liabilityProduct liabilityPremises liabilityJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive admission to practice in AlabamaDemonstrated experience with motion practice and depositionsStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaborativelyHighly organized, detail-oriented, and efficientCompensation:Competitive salary commensurate with experience and other job-related factors permitted by lawOpportunities for professional growth within a supportive litigation teamInterested in learning more?
