This position will also facilitate the distribution of vaccine education material and information.\nThis is a full-time contract position located in Carson City with the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health’s Immunization Program. This position is grant-funded through December 31, 2024. Please note that contracted positions do not receive State of Nevada employee benefits (i.e., paid time off and health insurance). Will be offered through a contracted company\n•* *Position is located in Carson City, Nevada.\nLocal and statewide travel is a requirement of this position.\n•* *Monday – Friday; 8am – 5pm or other agreed upon arrangement that equals a 40 hour week.\n•* *Must have a reliable mode of personal transportation – **\nResponsibilities and Standards\nPlan, schedule and deliver in-office provider education/conduct site visits.\n•* *Data analysis and evaluation of adult immunization trends.\n•* *Record site visit outcomes and follow up on assigned interventions accordingly.\n•* *Assist with reports and phone calls with CDC.\nSpecial Note: This role is involved in a dynamic public health program. As such, roles and responsibilities are subject to change as situations evolve. Roles and responsibilities listed above may be expanded upon or updated to match priorities and needs.\nRequirements (Education, experience, and/or professional licensure)\nGraduation from an accredited college or university in public administration or a related field and two (2) years of previous experience in planning, coordinating, or administering a program/project; OR two (2) years experience as a Program Officer 2 in Nevada State service; OR graduation from high school, or the equivalent, and six (6) years of previous experience in planning, coordinating or administering a program/project; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nThis position requires the regular operation of a motor vehicle during the course and scope of employment as an essential function of the job.
