Academic Endocrinologist
Job Description & Requirements
The Division of Endocrinology of the Department of Medicine at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join our vibrant and rapidly expanding team. This is a full‑time faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor/Clinical for a non‑tenure track position. A strong interest in developing an academic career is required.
Responsibilities
Inpatient care at University Hospital.
Outpatient services at UT Health San Antonio’s Gateway and new Multispecialty and Research Hospital.
Opportunities for clinical research and teaching.
Qualifications
MD or DO.
Board eligible or board certified in Endocrinology.
Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
Successful completion of an accredited residency/fellowship.
Commitment to service, teamwork, and training future physicians.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. as a foreign national under federal and university requirements.
