The role will serve as a strategic business partner to site leaders and oversee all areas of HR including employee relations, payroll systems, recruiting, leadership development, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. This role requires outstanding interpersonal skills to manage personnel effectively, as well as strong multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a fast-paced 24/7/365 manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the implementation and execution of HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with business objectives.\nManage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.\nServe as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR matters such as performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.\nProcess bi-weekly payroll, track time and attendance for a non-exempt population of ~150 employees.\nOversee employee orientation and onboarding programs, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.\nProcess unemployment claims and handle communications in accordance with federal and state regulations.\nCoach and advise management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to promote fairness and consistency.\nAssist in the development and implementation of training programs to support employee growth and engagement.\nTrack and analyze turnover rates, exit interviews, and HR metrics to drive strategic improvements.\nAdminister HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives.\nParticipate in audits, reporting, and the tracking of HR metrics for corporate and regulatory purposes.\nLead employee engagement efforts; coordinate site events.\nPerform additional HR functions as assigned to support department and business success.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred\nPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred\nMinimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting\nBilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred\nComprehensive knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment law\nProficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite\nExperience with HRIS, ATS, and recruitment platforms\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\nStrong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities\nProven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism\nHigh ethical standards and attention to detail\nWhy Join Sofidel America?\nCompetitive compensation package\nComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance\n401(k) plan with company match\nAccess to financial advising services\nPaid vacation and time off\nEmployee referral and performance bonuses\nOngoing training and professional development\nSupportive, safe, and professional work environment\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nSofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
