At Infinity, WE ARE MORE – now, come be more with us!\n\nPosition Overview\n\nInfinity is looking for a highly motivated Satellite Vehicle Operator (SVO) to join our team to provide 24/7/365 satellite operations support to the Space Development Agency (SDA) Tranche 1 Tracking Layer (T1TRK) Program. This SVO position is located at SDA Operations Center - North (OC-N) facility in Grand Forks, ND. Responsibilities include performing satellite operations support of the T1TRK Program which includes 16 Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) Missile Warning/Missile Defense campaign small satellites. Operations support tasks include use of Navy Research Lab (NRL) tools for spacecraft planning, navigation, telemetry, tracking, and control.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\nThe Space Vehicle Operator (SVO) is responsible for executing satellite command and control operations and performing real-time satellite commanding and telemetry analysis. Responsibilities also include mission planning, training, and conducting all activities associated with satellite operation activities. The SVO shall:\nConduct real-time satellite operations that include commanding, telemetry analysis, and anomaly actions as required\nSupport satellite constellation mission planning activities\nPerform satellite telemetry, tracking and commanding activities on satellite constellation\nAssist with development of training material and training of satellite operators\nPerform launch and early orbit checkout\nAssist in developing/updating checklists and procedures for satellite and ground system operations\nOperations support includes attending Daily Operations Stand-up meetings, shift changeover meetings, inputs to monthly in-progress reviews\nTroubleshooting and solving network and ground system issues\nProvide operational inputs to engineer and test teams\nConfigure satellite ground system and network supporting satellite operations\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nAble to obtain a Secret security clearance\nDesire to train and certify as a Satellite Vehicle Operator (SVO) to successfully execute satellite operations support tasks\nMinimum of high school diploma and 4 years of prior relevant experience or an Associate of Science degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience\nExperience in planning, organizing, and successfully executing tasks\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nActive Secret security clearance\nSatellite Vehicle Operator experience, to include telemetry, tracking and command, spacecraft procedures\nBachelor of Science degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience\nExperience with Department of Defense space programs\nAbility to conduct root cause analysis to identify failure causes and develop resolutions\nObjective thinker, problem solver with ability to execute challenging tasks through completion\nStrong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment\n\nEducation\n\nAssociate of Science degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and experience\n\nClearance Requirement\n\nSecret security clearance\n\nShift Schedule\n\nThe SVO position supports the SDA Operations Center 24-hours a day, 7-days a week on a rotating 8-hour shift schedule (day-shift, swing-shift, and mid-shift).\n\nThis is a full-time position, typically working 40-48 hours per week.
