(heavy manufacturing production floor presence)\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nDevelop layouts (AutoCad, DWG)\n\nPrepare time and motions studies, BOM’s, routings, Work Instructions\n\nChart process flow, Control plans, PFMEA\n\nPerform research on best materials and methods for manufacturing\n\nProvide project management for larger projects\n\nPrepare and maintain Gantt charts\n\nCoordinate with Lean teams.\n\nParticipate in Lean events and follow up on approved improvements to insure their effectiveness and continued value.\n\nProvide leadership by guiding the activities\n\nOther Key Responsibilities\n\nPeriodically report on progress\n\nSeek assistance when confronted with obstacles\n\nProvide support for any major equipment and process installation and setup.\n\nInterface with equipment manufacturer, operations, maintenance, safety, quality\n\nTrain affected employees\n\nEstablish maintenance schedules, calibration needs, safety guarding and procedures, etc.\n\nWork with Operation Management to establish goals for improvement in Safety, Quality and productivity.\n\nCreate and produce supporting documentation required for CAPEX on equipment (ROI)\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nPrimarily working indoors, office environment.\n\nMay sit for several hours at a time.\n\nProlonged exposure to computer screens.\n\nRepetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.\n\nTravel to customer or other Lippert facilities may be required\n\nFloor time at customers or other Lippert facilities may be required which may include walking, kneeling, crouching, sitting, standing\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering\n\nAuto CAD\n\nSolidWorks\n\nSigmanest\n\nRobowave\n\nLantek\n\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications\n\nCompetencies\n\nLeadership skills\n\nTechnical skills\n\nProblem solving skills\n\nProject management skills\n\nEffective communication skills\n\nAttention to detail\n\nSupervisory Responsibility\nThis role does not have any supervisory responsibilities upon hiring.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
