The goal of the Charging Systems Manager at Wisk is to be responsible for managing the entire product life cycle of aircraft HV DC charging solutions. You will be part of the ESPS (Energy Storage & Power System) team that is accountable to deliver the complete solutions for the Wisk Gen6 autonomous vehicle .Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Mountain View or Fremont office.What You Will DoBe responsible for management the full product life cycle with focus on architecture, performance, certifications, reliability and maintainabilityManage a multidisciplinary team for the overall responsibility for the charging solutionLead the product development phase, including the definition and introduction of new products, feasibility studies, benchmark, partnership as a basis for technology projects, certification and future platforms Drive the definition process, requirements and specification for the next generation of products Guide the team’s work by identifying key goals and deliverables with execution Collaborate with other ESPS teams and aircraft teams to ensure a successful charger integrationLead safety analysis efforts focused on the charging Coordinate and interface with partners and suppliers RequirementsBS in an engineering discipline and 12+ years working in an engineering roleMinimum of 5 years’ experience working with electric vehicle battery charging systemsStrong understanding of regulatory requirement, UL, ISO, IEC and industry standard related to automotive and eVTOL charging productsExperience with charging protocols, requirement management, and safety analysis Hands on knowledge of hardware/software integration and validation Experience with cooling system development and integration DesiredExperience with Electrical aviation charging standardsAviation or Automotive industry experience Experience with electrical powertrain systems Knowledge of FAA, EASA regulation and guidanceKnowledge of CCS, NACS, MCS Bonus points for knowledge of SAE J3271 Job Type: Full-timePay Range the Company expects to pay: $262,473 - $293,969 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.Wisk HQ is located in Mountain View just a couple of hundred feet from Shoreline Lake and its surrounding walking/jogging trails.
