The position requires proficiency and thoroughunderstanding of various machine systems including but not limited to,mechanical systems, electrical and high voltage systems, PLC andcontrols systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding andfabrication of equipment in a food manufacturing plant. The ability tofunction effectively in a team environment and interact productivelywith all levels of management and operations is required.Pay for this position ranges from \$29-42/hr depending on relevantexperience.\\Responsibilities**\\Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs various production equipmentsystems and devices and performs regular preventive maintenance asplanned.Performs regular equipment checks and completes the required predictivechecklists to identify early signs of potential equipment failures andminimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improvement.Collaborate within the immediate supervisor and maintenance planner toschedule and develop inspection routines and preventative maintenanceschedules.Performs new installations and relocations of new/existing equipment,regular and emergency startups and shutdowns of equipment in accordanceWith Company Standard Operating Procedures And Safety Requirements.Assist Team Leaders and line Operators in efficient line start up andequipment adjustments. Assist other maintenance department staff withtechnical troubleshooting.Keeps supervisor and/or manager up to date on all on-going workassignments, provides consistent updates in regards to project status,completion time projections, and any problems that may have arisenduring the course of the project.Performs high quality work that meets industry accepted maintenancepractices to maintain compliance with external regulatory agencies.Continues to develop maintenance technical skills within mechanical,electrical, controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding and fabricationskillsetIncreases equipment specific knowledge for maintenance activities onfactory equipment such as cook kettles, pumps, mixers, food formers,ovens, fillers, food assembly equipment, fryers, primary packagingequipment such as wrappers, secondary packaging equipment such asformers and closers, metal detectors and palletizing equipment.Learns and demonstrates our AFNA One Team culture as defined througheffective teamwork, communication, leadership, production interactionand support, etc.Participates within our TPM (total performance management) journeythrough small group activities (NWT) and continuous improvementmethodology (STPD and BDA)Perform building and grounds maintenance and facility repairs as neededto include carpentry\\\\Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals withdisabilities.\\PI284206629
