The Program Director will supervise a 24/7 Crisis Response Team that will provide interventions to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis in a Living Room crisis center. This new program will be located in McHenry County. The Program Director will help to establish the necessary collaborations and protocols to make this program successful.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nEnsures the delivery of all program and casework services, attempting to accomplish all agency objectives and promulgate agency traditions, practices, and organizational goals.\n\nProvides leadership and modeling of evidence‑based practices and recovery that ensures program implementation according to the fidelity scales.\n\nEnsures that the team functions optimally, in conjunction with other parts of the program while meeting the community support and rehabilitation needs of our members.\n\nCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies.\n\nFunctions as a leader of the organization, representing the agency on special projects or in the community.\n\nMonitors all required paperwork and maintains the quality and validity of individual case records according to regulatory bodies.\n\nIn conjunction with the Vice President, Clinical Operations prepares salary and line‑item budget recommendations for the program. Oversees expenditures for the program in accordance with the agency's accounting practices.\n\nAssists with special tasks such as writing proposals, publications, annual reports, representing the agency at meetings, conferences, conducting research, consulting with and training outside visitors and trainees, supervising students, orienting and training new staff.\n\nOversees hiring process for the program.\n\nMust work flexible schedule. On‑call duties for a 24/7 program.\n\nEDUCATION\n\nMaster’s degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field required.\n\nEXPERIENCE\n\nSupervisory experience strongly preferred.\n\nThree (3) to Five (5) years of experience working with persons diagnosed with mental illness preferred.\n\nAbility to synthesize and summarize information and make sound judgments regarding member care.\n\nMust communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in order to provide information to members and healthcare personnel.\n\nKnowledge of the mental health care system and ability to adapt to change.\n\nCurrent and valid driver’s license required.\n\nWHAT SETS THRESHOLDS APART\n\nCompetitive pay – Salary Range: $90,000 - $96,000 annually\n\nBased on supervisory experience and licensure\n\nGenerous PTO (9 federal holidays, 8 days of sick leave, 15–22 days personal and vacation)\n\nDental insurance, vision insurance, choice of 4 medical insurance plans\n\n403(b) retirement plan with 3% employer match\n\nRobust employee assistance program (EAP)\n\nPublic service loan forgiveness\n\nSupervision for clinical licensure at no cost (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC)\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
