{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a33f02c84d28952a02ca82f8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a33f02c84d28952a02ca82f8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a33f02c84d28952a02ca82f8","title":"Batch Plant Operator","description":"Pleasanton, KS | Pleasanton Plant\n9421 Thomas Rd\nPleasanton, KS 66075, USA\n\nPleasanton, KS | Pleasanton Plant\n9421 Thomas Rd\nPleasanton, KS 66075, USA\n\nOperates concrete mixer to batch materials and transport mixed concrete from the batch plant and throughout the production facility.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nMix concrete for all production areas\n\nOil, clean and prepare mixer according to work instructions and SOP\n\nInspect and adjust all working parts in batch plant\n\nMonitor raw materials to insure proper utilization and inventory levels\n\nParticipates in ongoing minor and preventative maintenance and visual evaluations of plant and equipment to keep batch plant clean\n\nInventory and maintain accurate records of all parts and provide notification when orders are needed\n\nMonitor concrete temperature in cold and hot weather months and understanding the changes that need to be made to concrete for each\n\nConfer with supervisory personnel to resolve problems, provide immediate feedback, and recommend solutions to improve performance\n\nEnsure established performance indicators are met\n\nAdhere to OSHA rules and regulations at all times\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent or one to six months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience\n\nOther Qualifications:\n\nKnowledge of concrete mixes\n\nAbility to read and interpret production drawings\n\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals\n\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence\n\nComputer knowledge;
