Senior Probate Estate Litigation Attorney Remote Florida Bar Required
At The Estate Plan, we’re looking for a seasoned Senior Probate, Litigation Attorney & Estate Planning expert to join our dynamic team. You'll play a pivotal role in our firm, where your expertise in resolving complex probate and trust disputes, guardianship procedures, and partitions will shine. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and a dedicated legal team to deliver exceptional client outcomes. This fully remote position offers you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life effectively. Our competitive compensation package is between $150,000 and $200,000 based on experience, plus performance bonuses. In addition to compensation, our benefits package includes 136 hours of PTO, comprehensive health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid company holidays.
Responsibilities
Manage probate and estate administration cases from start to finish
Handle probate and trust litigation, including contested estates, fiduciary disputes, partitions, guardianships, and creditor claims
Lead and oversee estate planning matters, including trusts, wills, and advanced planning strategies
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, trials, evidential hearings, and other court proceedings
Analyze complex client situations and develop strategic legal solutions
Guide clients through trust funding and asset alignment with estate plans
Maintain and organize client files while ensuring compliance with deadlines
Conduct client consultations to evaluate their needs and determine if and how the firm can assist them
Enter time and billing records accurately and in a timely manner
Delegate and supervise work assigned to paralegals and legal staff
Monitor case progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are met
Collaborate with the Operations Team to improve firm systems and workflows
Participate in business development and community engagement activities
Qualifications
3+ years of experience practicing probate, estate planning, and probate litigation, or experience with the State Attorney’s Office prosecuting civil theft and exploitation of the elderly
Active Florida Bar license is required
Experience serving as first chair in at least one jury trial or evidentiary hearing through completion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with clients navigating emotional situations
Experience appearing in court hearings and handling litigation procedures
Highly organized, with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Comfortable working with legal technology and case management systems
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Compensation
$150,000–$200,000 DOE & location + performance bonuses.
