This role works onsite with the project team to help ensure work is completed in alignment with applicable engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.\nWhat you’ll do\nProvide technical and administrative support to project team members to maintain compliance with applicable standards, codes, specs, and design instructions\nTroubleshoot engineering-related installation and field issues; recommend practical solutions\nSupport project closeout activities, including punch list planning and execution\nPrepare specifications and documentation for purchasing materials and equipment\nAssist with estimating and change order management\nSupport design coordination, commissioning support, and procurement coordination\nGenerate and submit invoices and support O&M manual compilation/submittal\nParticipate in Key Project Reviews (KPR)\nMaintain coordination/detailing logs and help manage project schedules, including schedule updates\nTrack productivity reporting and identify value-added solutions and cost-saving opportunities\nWhat we’re looking for\nExperience: ideally 3–4 years (open to 2+ years) in a project engineering or similar role, preferably in electrical construction or with an electrical contractor\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (ABET-accredited preferred); will also consider highly technical degrees such as Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or similar\nInterest in long-term growth toward Project Lead / Project Manager responsibilities\nTools and software (preferred)\nExperience with one or more of the following is a plus:\nProcore\nBluebeam\nAccubid\nMcCormick\nPrimavera P6\nMicrosoft Project\nWork environment and physical requirements\nRegular computer use for extended periods\nAbility to sit for extended periods and perform typical office/jobsite coordination tasks\nStrong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interpret technical information and project documentation\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
