This role ensures the effective management of EH&S programs and compliance with all applicable company policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nManage, through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices, manufacturing sites, and plants with control results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.\nDevelop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.\nConduct meetings involving environmental safety, training, and awareness programs.\nOversee proper maintenance of buildings, furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.\nProvide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit, or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.\nEstablish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).\nInteract frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers.\nConduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.\nManage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities, including costs of contract labor, equipment, and materials.\nTrain staff on any changes to policy and procedures.\nImplement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines.\nTypically requires 7 years of related experience.\nKR13\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
