Apply now!\n\nPacker Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nPackage products according to SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure), WP’s (Work Process) and batch record specifications in preparation for shipping. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to: assembling components, loading machines, constructing boxes, taping, labeling, removing damaged shippers, palletizing, maneuvers pallets using a pallet jack, performing product changeover duties\nEnsure the quality compliance of the products being packed by inspecting for defects such as legible and accurate codes, effective seals, appropriate quantity, etc., in order to ensure all specifications are met\nRemove defective products into the proper location for rework or disposal\nAlerts appropriate personnel to any potential quality issues discovered and stops the line, as needed, until further direction is received\nRotates through all packing functions and performs at expected levels\nCompletes cleaning functions including responsibilities during line clearances, cleaning equipment and areas, and 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain method) around the plants to ensure a safe, organized work environment\nFollows all company and facility safety policies, procedures and guidelines. Handles hazardous materials using all appropriate or mandatory safety gear. Immediately reports potentially hazardous situations or conditions\nAccurately completes required cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and/or other paperwork in a legible manner including signing the roster, scanning work order with badge number, and production documentation. Verifies and reviews for accuracy as required\nSupports & expected to work as a team player as a Packer\nAssist in coaching & mentoring employees and temporary staff members to new Packer role\nThis position may require overtime and/or weekend work\nKnowledge of and adherence to all PCI Pharma Services, cGMP, and GCP (Good Clinical Practices) policies, procedures, and rules\n\nPacker Requirements:\n\nTABE (Test for Adult Basic Education) testing requirements met at approved grade level for position\nBasic math skills\nThe ability to satisfy routine social demands and limited work requirements. The ability to read simple prose, in a form equivalent to typescript or printing, on subjects within a familiar context\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions.
