This position will focus on the implementation and delivery of Private and Public Cloud computing services, virtual machines with Windows or Linux OS, Data Protection, and disaster recovery as a service. The engineer will embrace technical challenges with creativity and must have the ability to act as a trusted advisor to our clients via both spoken and written communication. The Engineer will also directly interact with vendors and partners. This is a hybrid position requiring proximity to one of our eligible office locations which include Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Columbus, Memphis, Baltimore, Phoenix and Denver.\r\nResponsibilities Ensure delivery of standard technical implementations by working to deliver solutions, systems, managed services and virtual environments that are sold to clients\r\nFollow implementation guidelines, processes and procedures to ensure Service Delivery standards and quality are met\r\nEnsure appropriate documentation of the implementation is generated, maintained and delivered with the implemented services for effective hand-off and transition to the Operations Support Center (OSC)\r\nCommunicate with project managers, directly with clients and internal staff at regular intervals to ensure expectations are set and that appropriate attention is being paid to client projects\r\nOff Hours availability for client migrations\r\nQualifications 3+ years as a systems administrator or engineer responsible for Managed Service Provider (preferred) or Enterprise\r\nDemonstrates a level of competency with many of the following technologies: Demonstrated experience performing Physical to Virtual and Virtual to Virtual migrations from private and public cloud environments.\r\nDemonstrated experience implementing Disaster Recovery solutions, excluding backup solutions.\r\nVMware vSphere v6.7 through v9 with both HCI and storage array backed environments.\r\nvCloud Foundation, vCloud Director and NSX-T are a plus\r\nExperience with Nutanix Prism Central, Prism Element, Move, and AHV\r\nExperience with Data Protection technology\r\nMFA such as Azure AD / Entra ID, OneLogin, Okta, DUO\r\nModern Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services\r\nBasic Linux commands (primary focus on Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Rocky)\r\nBasic networking principles including subnetting, NATs, firewall rules, and VLANs\r\nThe ideal candidate may possess one or multiple industry technical certifications from IT-related vendors like Microsoft, Nutanix, and VMware\r\nSkills Ability to prioritize and be productive in a fast-paced environment\r\nStrong troubleshooting skills including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nOutstanding service and response time working with clients\r\nPassion for learning technologies and curious for new ideas\r\nFlexibility to be available for scheduled night and weekend implementation projects when required\r\nEducation Bachelor's degree in a related field, or Associate's degree with relevant work experience is preferred\r\nApplicants without a degree but with demonstrated experience will be considered\r\nSalary for this position is directly related to your own experience and skill.
