In this highly skilled manufacturing role, you'll operate, troubleshoot, and optimize printing press equipment while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. We're looking for experienced press operators who take pride in their work, can lead by example, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nWhat You Will Do\nServe as a safety leader and uphold all company safety standards and procedures.\nIndependently operate and oversee all phases of press production, including setup, changeovers, startup, operation, troubleshooting, and shutdown.\nMonitor print quality and make adjustments to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards.\nRead and interpret job orders, production schedules, specifications, and operating procedures.\nTroubleshoot mechanical, operational, and quality issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.\nComplete production, quality, and job documentation accurately and thoroughly.\nLead and coordinate the activities of Press Assistants.\nTrain, mentor, and support the development of less experienced team members.\nSupport product safety, regulatory compliance, and quality requirements.\nParticipate in continuous improvement, 5S and operational excellence initiatives.\nCollaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to improve performance and productivity.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nPrevious printing press operator experience in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to independently set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize press equipment.\nStrong understanding of print quality standards, color consistency, registration, and production specifications.\nExperience performing quality inspections and making machine adjustments based on inspection results.\nAbility to read production orders, specifications, measurements, and technical documentation.\nBasic computer skills and ability to learn production software and systems\nMath, measurement, and reading skills\nCommitment to workplace safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.
