We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join a collaborative care team at a respected cancer center in North Central New Mexico . Key Responsibilities - CT Technologist Perform CT and general radiologic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver coordinated outpatient oncology care Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning accurately, and administering contrast when needed Monitor patients throughout procedures, especially those with complex medical needs or receiving cancer treatments Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and regulatory documentation Assist with ECGs, lab specimen collection, and medication administration within the scope of licensure Complete patient registration, documentation, and PACS imaging uploads accurately and efficiently Recognize and report abnormal findings or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel Support infection control standards and ensure compliance with Joint Commission safety requirements Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program Licensure & Certifications: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required Current New Mexico Radiology License required ARRT CT Certification and NM CT License required (or obtained within 12 months of hire) BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required Medical Assistant Certification required (or obtained within 6 months of hire) Experience: 1+ year experience in diagnostic radiology (clinical training may apply) Preferred: Experience in outpatient settings or oncology care Skills: Proficiency with radiology software systems (Cerner, PACS, Athena, eClinicalWorks) Ability to perform patient registration and obtain vitals accurately Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of radiographic positioning, radiation safety, and quality control Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Why Join Us?
