Title: Laboratory Assistant IILocation: East Hanover, NJ - Part TimeDuration: 6 months, till the end of the year, strong possible extensionPayrate: $23/hr to $25/hrPart time: 20-32 hours per weekJob Description:Lab Contractor. Seeking a Part-Time Lab Contractor to provide essential support to our Research & Development (R&D) team. This role will focus on assisting with various lab tasks, including sample management, shipping, safety compliance, and general lab upkeep. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and be literate in basic digital skills.Responsibilities:Provide support for R&D, Marketing, and Sales requests.ssist with domestic shipments, including packing and generating UPS waybills.Receive incoming shipments, unpack shippers, and notify developers.Support other R&D tasks as requested, such as setting up and cleaning up product reviews, benchtop prototyping, and sample analysis.Manage lab and sample inventory.Log data and information digitallyQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.bility to prioritize tasks and work independently.Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., email, data entry).Good communication and interpersonal skills.bility to lift and move packages.bility to learn new digital systems
