The application manages client engagements, tracks deliverables, measures employee utilization, handles task management, and will expand into time tracking and additional operational features.\r\nWe need a developer who takes full ownership — from database schema to deployed feature — and treats quality as their personal responsibility.\r\nDuties and responsibilities\r\nAs a BELAY Corporate Team member, you will professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions. You are expected to exemplify our mission, vision and core values daily, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, build, and ship features end-to-end across a Laravel API backend and React TypeScript frontend backed by PostgreSQL\r\nOwn quality: write testable code, perform your own QA, and catch issues before users do\r\nCollaborate closely with a small, senior team to plan architecture and make pragmatic technical decisions\r\nRespond quickly to production issues and bugs — downtime directly impacts our firms' ability to serve clients\r\nParticipate in data modeling for complex accounting workflows including engagement tracking, utilization metrics, and multi-firm tenancy\r\nWrite and maintain API documentation; keep the codebase clean and well-organized for current and future team members\r\nDeploy and maintain infrastructure on DigitalOcean using Docker and CI/CD pipelines\r\nQualifications\r\nThis role requires a motivated and trustworthy self-starter with strong communication and technological skills who thrives both independently and on a team. Our ideal corporate team member is flexible, creative, well-organized and ready to roll up their sleeves to get the job done!\r\nRequired SkillsStrong experience with Laravel (routing, Eloquent, queues, middleware, testing)\r\nReact with TypeScript (hooks, state management, component architecture)\r\nPostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, query optimization)\r\nRESTful API design and authentication (Sanctum or Passport)\r\nDocker and containerized development workflows\r\nGit and collaborative workflows (branching, code review, CI/CD)\r\nComfortable working independently with minimal supervision\r\nPreferred but not RequiredExperience building multi-tenant SaaS applications\r\nFamiliarity with DigitalOcean App Platform or similar PaaS\r\nExperience with Spatie packages, Laravel queues/jobs, and event-driven architecture\r\nWorking conditions\r\nBELAY Corporate offers full-time remote work, requiring a dedicated, distraction-free home office for standard Monday-Friday business hours, with occasional travel for some roles.
