Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and improving our company's talent acquisition efforts.
The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for hiring qualified Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support our growing team. The Talent Acquisition Assistant is critical in ensuring that Apara Autism/Autism Learning Collaborative (ALC) maintains a high-quality workforce dedicated to providing exceptional care to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about talent acquisition and eager to make a significant impact within the autism community. Responsibilities
Pre-screen and interview candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education, job skills, culture fit, and soft skills
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using the ATS, networking, internet recruiting resources, social media, university recruiting, personal sourcing and recruiting, and employee referrals
Schedules additional interviews, collaborates with hiring manager to agree on next steps, and extends offers of employment
Organize candidates' data (e.g. resumes, assignments and contact details) in internal databases
Organize our employee referral process, including asking for referrals and managing bonus requests
Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing necessary paperwork and scheduling trainings)
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure employment laws and regulations compliance
Participate in job fairs and career events to promote Apara/ALC as an employer of choice
Requirements and skills
0-1 years of relevant experience recruiting behavioral health or psychology positions in a staffing environment
A motivated, outgoing personality. Must be a self-starter, have a sense of urgency, and a willingness to learn
Previous experience with applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Strong verbal and written communications skills and excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of ABA desired
Bachelor's degree preferred
