Operating across six states, we continue to grow and innovate in the ever-evolving media landscape.\nThe Programmer Analyst works directly with local and remote end users to diagnose and resolve a wide variety of software issues in a fast-paced environment, working on site in Little Rock. The role is part of a team responsible for various technologies used by the company including newspaper advertising, circulation, call management, and process automated systems. We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills and committed to providing excellent customer service through prompt problem resolution, communication, and documentation.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAdministration and end user support of newspaper advertising, circulation, and call management systems.\nCreates and maintains workflows in a process automated system involving multiple platforms.\nResponds to inbound calls, emails, and support tickets from users regarding issues on multiple systems.\nProvides daily support to local users and outlying sites.\nTrack reported issues and document status until completion.\nGood attendance is required.\nAssisting with multiple special projects and ad-hoc requests.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge of, or ability to learn, newspaper advertising and circulation system software.\nKnowledge of Progress database a plus.\nKnowledge of RedHat 9 a plus.\nMicrosoft SQL and/or Oracle background a plus.\nKnowledge of, or ability to learn, call management system software, including working with IVR Management.\nKnowledge of, or ability to learn, process automated system software.\nKnowledge of MS Office products and/or Google applications.\nKnowledge of, or ability to learn, Microsoft Windows desktop.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to read and follow written instructions and manuals, working to completion.\nAbility to take notes and use those notes for future tasks.\nAbility to problem solve and quickly troubleshoot complex issues.\nAbility to work both individually and in group situations on tasks.\nAbility to understand verbal instructions and work to completion.\nAbility to get along well with others in a stressful environment.\nAbility to follow company policies and procedures.\nAbility to travel to satellite offices as required.\nAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\nCollege degree in the field of Information Technology and two years of experience working in an IT role preferred.\nIf you are a dedicated and detail-oriented information technology professional looking to take your career to the next level in a respected and forward-thinking company, we encourage you to apply.
