Work will be performed on a hybrid schedule in Alexandria, VA or Edgewood, MD. This position will be supporting a DoD client with a variety of needs including acquisition, program management, technology assessment, demonstration support, and testing and evaluation.\r\nPerformance Based Tasks Required:\r\nThe contractor shall clearly communicate, orally and in writing, to address a variety of audiences to include very senior officials within DoW and interagency partners.\r\nThe contractor shall use Microsoft Office suite of software; Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project Management Software.\r\nThe contractor shall have advanced experience and knowledge of the current Adaptive Acquisition Framework software and hardware acquisition processes and policies outlined in the DoDI 5000.02 and relate them to product development, production, and sustainment.\r\nThe contractor shall be able to apply DoD acquisition and life cycle management policies, procedures, and practices to tasks and deliverables.\r\nThe contractor shall write, review, and staff action papers, studies, policies, and acquisition documents.\r\nThe contractor shall independently manage, synchronize, and track multiple, complex, and cross-functional actions.\r\nThe contractor shall assist the team lead with the planning, development/refinement, initiation, and execution of new requirements, projects, procedures, and guidelines.\r\nThe contractor shall support programs, projects, or tasks which involve tracking risk and provide constant status or process oversight.\r\nThe contractor shall leverage existing relationships and develop new contacts with Government and military policy makers and shapers.\r\nThe contractor shall maintain insight to program execution and milestones, as well as their strategic impacts.\r\nThe contractor shall use affordability, technology maturity, and responsiveness when assisting in the formulation of broad, time-phased operational goals and initial capabilities.\r\nThe contractor shall assist in development, design, and implementation of annual and long-range plans to realize the product development components of strategic goals.\r\nThe contractor shall facilitate milestone planning by preparing, reviewing, and updating technical briefing materials, documentation, and program schedules; and developing and implementing technical and programmatic plans and measures to track programs.\r\nThe contractor shall review, analyze, and evaluate program development, status/progress, and performance (i.e., acquisition strategies and documentation, acquisition phases and decision Levels, and timing and scope of decision reviews), and make recommendations for tailoring an acquisition approach which best fits program conditions. Recommendations shall minimize the time it takes to satisfy the validated need, consistent with common sense, sound business management practice, applicable laws and regulations, and the time-sensitive nature of the users' requirements. The contractor shall assist in identifying, assessing, developing, and mitigating program risk.\r\nThe contractor shall work at a senior level to support portfolio, program, and project support, maintaining personal and organizational interactions to enhance stakeholder relations and actively promote rapport with customers.\r\nThe contractor shall coordinate internal and external workshops, meetings, and reviews for relevant stakeholders, ensure that locations, phone, and video teleconference lines are booked for use; schedule speakers; develop and provide meeting materials (e.g., day-to-day schedules, agendas, presentations and displays, etc.); and track action items. The contractor shall support each event in person and/or via teleconference, video teleconference, and web conference.
