They should be process-oriented and comfortable putting effective mechanisms in place to streamline decision-making and ensure the right level of diligence.\nYou will need to be comfortable driving consensus on issues based on risk profiles and concrete data, engaging partner teams to both benchmark and influence policies, understanding business needs and responding to escalations.\nPROFESSIONAL FUNDAMENTALS\nBe responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business and technical impact.\nProvide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.\nBring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions.\nWork closely with Software Engineers across various teams and Product Managers to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle.\nAmplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies.\nHave experience driving cross-functional projects, building longer-running programs, and interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of Compliance & Security concepts\nHave experience reporting on complex programs through data-driven benchmarks.\nHave strong interpersonal skills that enable you to influence without authority, and build cross-organizational support, cooperation, and action around security initiatives, policies and procedures.\nAre used to working through trade-offs, balancing competing priorities, and having your mind changed.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience with cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and principles.\nExcellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.\nSuccessful experience working, collaborating, and establishing credibility and relationships with leadership, colleagues, and clients.\nAbility to adapt, to be flexible, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.\nExcellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams.\nEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
