As a Civil Construction Foreman, you will serve as an integral member of our design/build team. Tower Engineering Professionals offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401k with company match, and a relaxed, fun environment.\r\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\r\nMust have experience running teams of civil crews and solving team issues.\r\nAbility to manage and forecast labor hours for crew members to keep projects within company budget.\r\nKnowledge of the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working near energized lines and equipment.\r\nAbility to operate heavy machinery and lift up to 50 lbs.\r\nMust have experience with all aspects of tower construction, steel fabrication, and antenna equipment installation.\r\nAbility to use and maintain hand tools and mechanical equipment.\r\nAbility to effectively report verbal and written reports back to manager.\r\nMust have experience with completing \"close out\" packages.\r\nMust maintain level of excellence in crew's quality of work and mindset.\r\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\r\n4+ years of experience in construction.\r\nCandidate must be comfortable with traveling and being away from your home base for periods of time as needed.\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nMust have High school diploma or equivalent\r\nMust be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle\r\nEssential Functions\r\nManage the day-to-day activities of a group of Tower Construction Technicians ensuring that a quality installation or maintenance has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load-hopping\r\nManage and work on communications towers for installing, replacing, repairing structural systems, antenna installations and civil inspections.\r\nAnalyze situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action\r\nFollow instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action\r\nRecognize safety hazards and perform duties in a safe manner\r\nAnalyze field data and complete closeout reports with the use of MS Word/ Excel and Adobe PDF\r\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
