Title: Director of PreconstructionLocation: Atlanta, GASalary: up to $220k base plus benefitsClient: Our client is an employee-owned commercial general contractor based in Atlanta, GA. They deliver a mix of ground-up and renovation projects across commercial, industrial, higher education, federal, manufacturing, healthcare, and institutional markets.On Offer:Director-level opportunity with direct access to senior leadershipEmployee-owned companyOpportunity to lead the estimating teamStrong client-facing role with involvement in client meetings, proposals, and presentationsResponsibilities:Lead the preconstruction and estimating functionManage and support a team of estimatorsOversee proposals, client activity, presentations, and pursuit strategyAttend client interviews and support project winsBuild and maintain relationships with clients and key market contactsSupport estimating on commercial, industrial, ground-up, and renovation workHelp transition work from preconstruction into operationsTravel locally across Metro Atlanta and Georgia as neededRequirements:Ideally, 2-3 years operating at Director level or above (will also consider Senior Directors and VP level candidates)Commercial and industrial GC experienceStrong communicator with client-facing experienceAtlanta market experience and local relationships preferredStrong client-facing presentation skillsExperience leading and developing estimating teamsSoftware exposure preferred: Bluebeam, Autodesk, Sage, BuildConnect, or similar preconstruction tools
