This role is critical in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of major construction projects by verifying compliance with approved plans, specifications, and international building codes.Key ResponsibilitiesField Inspections: Perform high-level inspections on reinforced concrete and other structural elements to ensure adherence to project blueprints and code requirements.Documentation: Maintain meticulous files of field and laboratory data, including daily reports, letters, and RFIs (Requests for Information).Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for Project Managers and client representatives, providing clear and professional updates on project status and compliance issues.Data Management: Ensure all pertinent field data is organized, accurate, and submitted within project deadlines.Required Qualifications & EducationTo be successful in this role, you must hold the following certifications and meet these professional standards:Primary Requirement: ICC Certification in Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector.Preferred Certifications: ICC certifications in Structural Masonry, Post-Tensioned Reinforced Concrete, High-Strength Bolting, Structural Steel/Welding, or Pre-stressed Concrete.Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of active field experience in special inspections.
