Forklift Mechanic / Field Service Tech

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts on site at customer locations in different types of work environments Responsibilities - Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on customer forklifts - Identify repair needs when applicable and report to supervisor for quoting - Inspect equipment parts for damage or wear, and replace as needed - Complete routine service tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations - Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems - Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations Skills - Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment issues - Experience with forklift service - Proficiency in forklift operation - Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their functions - Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic in heavy equipment operations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Application Question(s): What make and model of forklifts are you most familiar with?
