This exciting opportunity will support the development of a proof of concept cloud based software solution. The successful candidate will learn the skills for developing and delivering new capabilities and enhancements to a cloud native, web based software application. The ideal candidate will have web development experience and work alongside the Tech Lead and develop new capabilities for the solution. Work will primarily be performed onsite at the ManTech Herndon office with limited opportunities for remote work.\nLearning Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nSupport development and enhancement of proof of concept cloud native web application\nDelivering capabilities into the application tied to requirements from the Tech Lead\nAdvise solution team on software engineering best practices including testing strategies, performance tuning, and system architecture\nDemonstrate the technical background and skills to perform in all phases of software design, development, documentation, and implementation\nProvide recommendations to refactor and improve system capabilities and performance\nOther related technical duties as assigned\nBasic Qualifications:\nTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR DOD SKILLBRIDGE JOB OPPORTUNITES YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE U.S. MILITARY WITH 180 DAYS OF SERVICE OR FEWER REMAINING PRIOR TO YOUR DATE OF SEPARATION AND HAVE AT LEAST 180 CONTINUOUS DAYS OF ACTIVE SERVICE\nSeparating from service within 180 days.\nReceive Command Approval for SkillBridge participation\nIndividuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required and (six) 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAbility to work independently or under generalized supervision with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.\nSecurity Clearance Requirements:\nIndividuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.\nFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
