Title: Echo Tech Registered Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84102 Duration: 13 Weeks Assignment Schedule Hours: 40 Hrs Shift: Variable-7A-7P Monday- Friday plus call- variable Start Date: ASAP Required: · 1+ years of cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) Experience – Required. · BLS from AHA · Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or via CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required · ECHO TECH REGISTERED · RDCS Currently registered as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered · COVID Vaccines card. Summary As an Echo Tech Registered, you will be instrumental in performing diagnostic evaluations through sonography, focusing on cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology. Reporting to the lead cardiologist, your role involves utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess vital signs and ensure patient safety through aseptic techniques. Your BLS Certification and RDCS credentials will be essential in delivering high-quality care in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. Responsibilities Perform echocardiograms and other sonographic procedures to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions. Monitor and document vital signs during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans. Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to medical protocols in a Level I Trauma Center environment. Ensure compliance with BLS certification standards and maintain equipment for optimal performance. Stay updated on interventional cardiology practices and contribute to emergency medicine efforts as needed.
