These positions are responsible for the surveillance and protection of our premises, as well as ensuring the safety of our residents, staff, and visitors.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a visible and professional presence while on post or conducting patrolsDemonstrate knowledge of assigned property and effectively engage with residents, guests, and employeesProtect company assets and preserve the confidentiality of proprietary informationPromote a respectful and collaborative team environmentRespond to complaints and emergency situations in a calm and professional mannerHandle accidents and emergencies, including contacting EMS, providing First Aid/CPR when necessary, and completing incident reportsOperate motor vehicles as required for patrol or job dutiesCommunicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writingAnswer telephones using proper etiquettePerform additional duties as assigned by supervisorsQualifications Minimum of two years of security experience; prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.For driving positionsA valid Driver’s LicenseAt least one year of driving experienceClean driving recordCPR/First Aid/AED Certification is preferred.Strong communication skills, and sound judgmentAbility to maintain professionalism in all situations.Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.Flexibility to work any shift as required.Hust have the ability to transfer employment to Berman Security Agency under TOPSCompliance with state/local licensing requirements, which may be required before employmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, sit, or walk for extended periodsAbility to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and rainOccasionally lift or carry up to 40 poundsAbility to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as requiredAbility to walk and stand on various surfaces for prolonged periodBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysEqual Opportunity StatementBerman is an equal opportunity employer.
