The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in lending and a deep understanding of the financial needs of government entities, prime contractors, minority-owned businesses, small businesses, and the broader commercial and residential markets. This role requires expertise in working capital, equipment funding, purchase order financing, underwriting relationships, and building strong partnerships with clients and alliance partners. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the lending sales team, focusing on securing funding opportunities for supply chain management operations. - Develop relationships with government entities, prime contractors, minority-owned businesses, small businesses, and other key stakeholders. - Identify and structure lending solutions such as working capital loans, equipment funding, purchase order financing, and other financial services that meet client needs. - Collaborate with underwriters, financial institutions, and funding sources to secure the best terms and funding options for clients. - Build and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances that support MPG Supply Chain Network’s goals and expand its client base. - Ensure all lending and funding activities comply with regulatory guidelines and best practices, particularly in government and small business funding. - Work closely with the accounting team to oversee loan structuring, funding disbursements, and payment schedules. - Provide leadership and guidance to the lending sales team to ensure they meet sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. - Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, client relations, and funding pipelines to senior management. - Stay current on market trends, government funding programs, and industry regulations to provide clients with the most relevant solutions. - Deliver exceptional client service by understanding their financial needs and ensuring the timely delivery of solutions. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. - A minimum of 7 years of experience in lending, with a strong focus on supply chain management and operations. - Extensive knowledge of government contracting, prime contractors, minority-owned businesses, and small business funding. - Proven expertise in working capital financing, equipment funding, purchase order financing, and commercial and residential lending. - Strong relationships with underwriters, financial institutions, and funding partners. - Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Experience in accounting, financial structuring, and loan management. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in financial software, CRM systems, and loan management tools.
