We are enabling our right-of-center clients to create a data-first strategy.Job SummaryOur Data Acquisition Coordinator assists with the intake, auditing, and processing of raw datasets, including voter file records and absentee/early vote data, from state and local offices nationwide. As the first step in our broader data pipeline, this role is foundational to the accuracy and quality of the data product we deliver to clients. This role reports to the Data Acquisition Manager within the Master Data Management department.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with state and local offices nationwide to collect voter file and absentee & early vote data filesComplete necessary data request forms accurately and timely to ensure data is received promptlyImport and audit incoming voter files and absentee & early vote data files to ensure accuracy and completenessSet up and monitor automated ETL pipelines through Microsoft Azure Data Factory to ensure quick and accurate data import and processingUtilize Microsoft SQL and Excel to access, sort, organize, understand, and clean incoming data filesCreate and maintain stored procedures for data files to ensure accuracyServe as a trusted point-of-contact for other internal teams regarding timelines and statusesResearch and understand key election dates and deadlines nationwideField and fulfill ad hoc projects from Client Services department regarding unique data file requestsSkillsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsComfortability with large, imperfect, raw datasetsAbility to manage multiple competing deadlines and prioritiesi>Working knowledge of SQLProficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace productsQualificationsBachelor's Degree, preferably in political or data related fieldPrevious internship experience, preferably in politics, campaigns, or a data related fieldFamiliarity with or interest in conservative politics, election cycles, and campaignsFlexibility to temporarily work early, late, or weekend hours during peak election seasons, as neededBenefits & LogisticsFull benefits package including four medical plan options, dental, vision, life, and LTD insurance401(k) plan with company matchingTime Away plans including PTO, WFH, and Leave optionsCompany-paid commuter stipendsIn-Person Monday through Thursday; Remote FridaysConveniently located modern office space in Arlington, VAIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
