I & E Insurance Agency emphasizes long-term relationships, responsive service, and clear communication to support clients at every stage of their lives.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role based in Point Pleasant, NJ. The Insurance Agent will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs, explain coverage options, and recommend appropriate policies across personal and commercial lines. Daily responsibilities include quoting and binding policies, processing policy changes, and assisting clients with billing questions and coverage inquiries. The role involves proactive outreach to new leads and current clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings to grow and retain the book of business. The Insurance Agent will also support claims reporting, maintain accurate records in agency management systems, and collaborate with teammates to ensure timely and accurate service.Qualifications Strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to identify client needs and match them with suitable products.Solid understanding of Insurance products and coverages across personal and/or commercial lines.Basic knowledge of Finance concepts related to premiums, deductibles, and risk management.Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and follow-through.Relevant state insurance producer license (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).Proficiency with computer systems, CRM or agency management software, and standard office applications.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client requests and deadlines.Prior experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or related financial services environment is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or professional designations (e.g., CIC, CISR) are a plus.
