This individual will have had experience in setup, and operation of surface grinding equipment including basic Knowledge in CNC Surface Grinding. In addition, this individual will be supportive incorporating current and future products into a CNC grinding process.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nMajor Responsibilities:\nMaintain a safe working environment per OSHA standards throughout the plant and assist in implementing any required updated safety regulations.\nBe able to learn new equipment quickly based on a foundational understanding of CNC and grinding.\nResponsible for performing, set-up and identifying appropriate fixtures and required wheels to produce parts.\nIn the event of critical absences this individual will be able to step into a production lead position and get a process running effectively, followed by a successful handoff to operator personal.\n\nSecondary Responsibilities:\nProvide team support and communication to all co-workers.\nAssist in implementation of Continuous Improvement Programs.\nCoordinates with Plant/Operations Manager for up to date scheduling changes.\nCoordinates with Engineering for timely turn around regarding fixturing and any required support.\nNotifies Plant/Operations Manager of potential problems which could affect customer deliveries.\nMaintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing processes.\nMaintain and manager fixture and wheel inventories to ensure on-time deliveries.\nCollaborate with quality control when required.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
