Service Manager

SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and directing the overall operation of multiple grow finish sites within a specific geographic area. This includes leading and motivating finishing site managers and employees while overseeing the operation of the farms. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance Able to work overtime as needed Able to work holidays as needed Conduct regular site visits to monitor the status of the farms and the employees Provide support, guidance, and feedback to all finishing site managers through daily communication Scheduling and communicating necessary pig flow and marketing information to all farms Set and communicate production and financial targets to all farms and employees Ensuring the health and well-being of all animals in terms of nutrition, medication, and environment Develop and monitor adherence to all standard operating procedures and training regimens Develop and communicate all biosecurity rules and practices Communicate regularly with upper management and/or farm owners Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned QUALIFICATIONS: At least one year of finishing site management Organizational, leadership, production problem solving, and communication skills Dedicated, goal oriented, motivated, and able to work independently, as well as effectively lead a team Maintain certification and follow all PQA Guidelines in the Humane Handling of Livestock Job Type: Full-time Base Pay: From $55,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
