Controller

Job Description My Client that is located in DuPage County has an immediate need for a Controller. The Controller will report directly to the President. This position is a full-time position that will start out as a contract position, but will go permanent. Client will not do sponsorship. - Minimum of 8 years' experience in a Manufacturing facility as a Controller - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, preferred; will consider Associates degree in Accounting - CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) highly recommended - Must have previous supervisory experience with a minimum of 3 employees reporting to you - Experience using Software for AP/AR, Inventory, Order Entry, etc. - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Responsibilities : - Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable - Customer Service/Order Entry - Domestic/International Logistics - Product Returns (RMAs) - Annual Physical Inventory - IT - HR responsibilities - Produce Financial Reports (Monthly, Quarterly, Year-End) - Assist with some regulatory compliance (CA Proposition 65, Conflict Materials, RoHS, PFAS, etc.) - Employee/Employer IRA Contributions
