The right candidate will want to do more with their skills, be challenged to resolve complex technical problems, contribute across the full product lifecycle, and grow leadership skills by providing mentorship to their peers.\n\nThis role will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and make a significant impact, and it’s best fit for an individual looking to build their career at a company that invests in the people, products, and possibilities.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\nSpearhead the development of complex, high-reliability electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications.\n\nTranslate high-level requirements into architectural concepts and associated low-level requirements.\n\nDocument and present your design performance, and acceptance criteria in design reviews.\n\nBecome a trusted technical expert, solving complex hardware problems through root cause analysis and impact assessment.\n\nMentor and provide guidance to a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.\n\nEngage in special projects that push the boundaries of airborne electronics.\n\nPerform hands‑on troubleshooting and design verification of products.\n\nPreferred Education & Experience:\n\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering or M.S. in Engineering fields or Science.\n\n5+ years of experience.\n\nExperience with aerospace or other industries with highly regulated development processes.\n\nPreferred Skills and Abilities:\n\nStrong foundation in digital and analog circuit design, analysis, power conversion, and PCB layout.\n\nFamiliarity with CAN, ARINC, and other common communication protocols; ability to program and debug hardware/software interfaces.\n\nKnowledge of aerospace standards (DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD-704/461) is a strong plus.\n\nAn innate ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical problems with a creative and analytical mindset.\n\nProficiency in electronic design and schematic tools (e.g., ePADS, Xpedition, PSpice) and a deep understanding of circuit design and analysis.\n\nA solid understanding of EMI mitigation design concepts.\n\nJira & Agile project management methodologies.\n\nFamiliarity with Product Lifecycle Management tool.\n\nStrong communication skill and collaborative mindset.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nFrequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.\n\nFrequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.\n\nThe person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office.\n\nFrequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.\n\nSalary Range\nPlease note the typical hiring range is $127,500 - $195,000 annually.
