This is a great opportunity for technicians who enjoy working with enterprise hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and getting hands-on with servers and data center infrastructure.\n\nTechnicians will primarily support Dell PowerEdge servers, performing hardware troubleshooting, break/fix repairs, component replacement, and preventative maintenance. The role will also involve replacing GPU cards and other components supporting AI infrastructure, along with opportunities to assist with basic server deployment, rack-and-stack, cabling, and related data center activities.\n\nWhile previous data center or server experience is preferred, early-career candidates and graduates of technical training programs are encouraged to apply. Training could be provided to candidates who demonstrate strong technical fundamentals, mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and the right attitude.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of Dell PowerEdge servers.\nDiagnose and replace failed server components, including:\nMotherboards\nDIMMs / memory\nCPUs\nNetwork interface cards\nHard drives / storage components\nPower supplies\nGPU cards and related hardware\nOther server and infrastructure components as needed\nSupport hardware break/fix activities in a large-scale data center environment.\nAssist with the installation, removal, replacement, and upgrade of NVIDIA GPU hardware and other components supporting AI infrastructure.\nPerform basic server installation and deployment activities as needed.\nAssist with rack-and-stack activities, including mounting equipment, connecting cables, and organizing data center hardware.\nPerform basic cabling and equipment connections.\nFollow established procedures for hardware replacement, troubleshooting, documentation, and escalation.\nUse ticketing and other tools to document work performed and maintain accurate records.\nWork safely and efficiently in a fast-paced data center environment.\nCollaborate with other technicians, engineers, and site personnel to resolve hardware issues.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nPerform other data center and hardware support duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements\n\nHands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, building, or maintaining computers, servers, electronics, or other technical hardware.\nBasic understanding of computer hardware and components.\nAbility to use hand tools and safely work with electronic and mechanical equipment.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to follow technical procedures and instructions.\nComfortable working onsite in a large-scale data center environment.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.\nReliable attendance and a strong work ethic.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nPrevious data center or server hardware experience.\nExperience working with Dell PowerEdge servers.\nExperience with server break/fix or field service.\nExperience replacing server components such as motherboards, memory, CPUs, NICs, storage, or power supplies.\nExperience working with GPUs or other high-performance computing hardware.\nExperience with rack-and-stack, server installation, or data center deployments.\nBasic Linux command-line experience.\nExperience with structured cabling or network equipment.\nTechnical school, IT training program, or relevant industry certification.\n\nEarly-Career Candidates Encouraged to Apply\n\nThis position is not limited to experienced data center technicians.
